I went away over the weekend to perform with Club 28 in Yeppoon. My biggest paying gig, with $1000 in cash and expenses covered. Your mother stayed home, and decided to rearrange. At this stage my Star Wars stuff had already been evicted from the study... so I shouldn't have been surprised to come home and find the computer and desk moved into the lounge room (forcing an ugly furniture setup, but let's not go there...). But the icing on the cake?
The furniture she had purchased was reassembled, and made up. She was sure that this month was it. She had "signs".
Her biology let her know otherwise the day after I returned.
You need to know one thing about your mother - she is a great love-r, capable of great love. She has this love for me, and she has this love for her children even before they come into being. She wants to nurture and protect you, help you grow and learn about the world, become an amazing person within this world. Even if she gets mad, this great love will still be there in the background.
